The main work of the evening will be Sir Karl’s Stabat Mater, with soloists Kathryn Rudge (mezzo soprano) and Baidar Albasri (ethnic vocals). Joo Yeon Sir (violin), will also be performing.

Featuring a wide variety of Advent and Christmas music, this unmissable concert also includes Freddie Simpson, Finalist in this year’s BBC Chorister of the Year. You can follow Freddie’s journey on the Songs of Praise programmes on BBC 1 at 1.15pm on Sunday 19th November and Sunday 3rd December!
